One of my personal ambitions is to be the last person in the country that is NOT on Facebook. I know more about the Snapchat stock than I do about how to actually use the service (and I know almost nothing about the stock).
However, I repeatedly read that the old forms of communication are dying … including text messaging.
So I chuckled today when I did something that I almost never do – I looked at my cell phone bill. I noticed that my family sent or received 2,960 text messages last month. I have no basis for comparison but that seems reasonable. Then I noticed that my 10 year old daughter was responsible for 1,816 of those text messages.
At least in my home, it appears that text messaging is alive and well!
